1. Agreement to these Terms

By accessing our website or placing an order with The Privateer Coffee Co. (“Privateer,” “we,” “us”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use our site.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least the age of majority in your state/province of residence to purchase from our site.

3. Products and descriptions

We do our best to describe products accurately (including roast level and tasting notes). However, coffee and tea are natural products and may vary slightly by batch.

4. Pricing and taxes

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes and shipping charges are calculated at checkout.

5. Orders and payment

By placing an order, you represent that:

• The payment information you provide is accurate and authorized
• You authorize us (or our payment processor) to charge the total amount shown at checkout
  We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including suspected fraud, errors in pricing, or product availability.

6. Shipping and delivery

We ship exclusively to addresses within the United States. We do not offer international shipping at this time. Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed. Title and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address; Privateer is not liable for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided at checkout.

7. Drop-ship fulfillment

Privateer is a curated coffee and tea brand and may fulfill orders through third-party partners. By ordering, you acknowledge that fulfillment, packaging, and shipping may be handled by our partners under our direction.

8. Returns and refunds

Our Refund Policy governs all requests for returns or replacements. Because coffee and tea are perishable consumables, all sales of coffee and tea are final. We do not accept returns on opened food or beverage products. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days so we can make it right. Gear and merchandise may be returned within 30 days if unused and in original packaging.

9. Promotions and discount codes

Discount codes and promotions may be limited by time, product, or other conditions. Unless stated otherwise, discount codes cannot be combined.

10. Intellectual property

All site content (text, images, logos, product names, and design) is owned by or licensed to Privateer and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our content without written permission.

11. User content

If you submit reviews, comments, or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display that content for business purposes.

12. Prohibited uses

You agree not to:

• Use the site for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to interfere with site security or functionality

19. Business and Wholesale Use

If you are purchasing products on behalf of a business, office, or organization, the following additional terms apply:

• Not for Resale: All products purchased through this site are for internal business consumption or personal use only. You may not resell, repackage, or redistribute Privateer products for commercial gain or under your own brand name unless you have a separate, signed Wholesale Agreement with us.
• Limited License: Business customers are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use Privateer’s name and logo (e.g., on breakroom signage or stickers) solely to identify the coffee or tea being served. You may not alter our logos or imply a formal partnership or endorsement without written consent.
• Liability: Privateer is not liable for any third-party claims arising from how you store, prepare, or serve our products to your employees, clients, or guests. You agree to prepare and serve all products according to standard food safety guidelines.
